The development of social-emotional competence is crucial for young children to regulate their emotions effectively, establish positive interpersonal relationships, and develop their academic and personality development in the future. The characteristics of sports games, such as fun, rules and cooperation, provide an opportunity to promote the development of social-emotional competence in young children; social-emotional learning can be integrated into sports games through the setting of clear goals, the creation of positive contexts, and effective classroom feedback; social-emotional learning can be supported through the enhancement of environmental support, the strengthening of teachers’ professionalism, and the exertion of curricular leadership by the director. In the end, the development of children’s social-emotional competence will be promoted. |
