      1919年“五四”运动前后,国内掀起“杜威热”,为中国新教育运动注入活力,使以陶行知、陈鹤琴、张宗麟及其学说、实践为标志的“中国化”幼教改革获得了现代教育理论的支撑,建立了包括儿童观、学制、课程理论、学校功能、教育原则及实验方法等方面基础,并与世界现代教育潮流融汇,由此成为中国现代儿童教育发展历程起点。
英文摘要:
      Before and after May 4th Movement in 1919,the “Dewey Craze” was aroused in China,which injected vitality into the new education movement in China,and provided theoretical support for the reform of the Sinicized early childhood education reform represented by Tao Xingzhi,Chen Heqin,Zhang Zonglin and their doctrines and practice.Theoretical basis about preschool education in China was established,including viewon children,length of schooling,curriculum theory,functions of school,educational principle and experimental methods.Coupled with the world’s modern educational trend,it became the starting point of the development of modern Chinese children’s education.
