| 非政府组织是当前缅甸社会发展中的一股新兴社会力量，它在缅甸被殖民时期、军人专政时期以及民主转型的新时期都发挥着作用。它以缅甸政府、民间社会为影响对象，推动缅甸政治社会的现代化。一方面通过民生项目援助弥补了缅甸政府公共治理的不足；另一方面培养了缅甸民众的权益意识，成为缅甸民众利益意识的培育者与权利的维护者，对于改变缅甸民众消极、被动的政治人格具有积极意义。 |

| NGO is an arising social force in Burmese social development, which has been playing a special role in the crucial periods of Burmese development, from the colonial times，military dictatorship to the new period of democratic transition. NGOs exert great influences on the Burmese government and its people, and greatly promote the modernization process of Burma. NGOs not only implement projects that focus on the improvement of ordinary people’s living standard, but also help cultivate Burmese people develop an awareness of right protection. NGOs have a positive effect on the changing of people’s negative and passive political personality. |
