The ethical ideological basis of children’s enlightenment classics, mainly, includes the concept of heaven, the patriarchal system, the idea of self-cultivation and family management, the doctrine of the mean, the concept of moral obligation, utilitarianism and conservatism, and the idea of inferiority between men and women. And its main moral categories include good and evil, sincerity and faith, courtesy and comity, benevolence and justice,etc.. By turning ignorance into civilization, and by clarifying chaos into clearness, children’s enlightenment classics are of great significance in cultivating children’s moral feelings and moral will, and in forming their moral character.
