      绘本是大多数中国家庭进行亲子阅读的主要材料。本研究分析了在中英文绘本创作中是否存在父母性别角色刻板 印象的现象,以期为父母、幼儿园、图书馆挑选合适的为学前儿童进行性别教育的绘本提供新的思路。以40 本获凯迪克奖和 丰子恺奖的中英文获奖绘本和信谊优秀图书为主要研究对象,运用人物形象塑造分析法,从父母的人格特质,角色行为,职业 分工,外貌特征和教养方式等几个维度进行分析,结果显示:父母性别刻板印象在小部分绘本中仍然存在,但在大多数绘本中 已经有所改善,体现更多元化的父母性别角色特征。
英文摘要:
      Picture book is the main material for parent-child reading in most Chinese families. This study analyzes whether there is a stereotype about parents’gender roles in the creation of Chinese and English picture books, hoping to provide new ideas for parents, kindergartens and libraries to select suitable picture books for gender education for preschool children. Taking 40 Chinese and English picture books which won The Caldecott Medal, Feng Zikai Chinese Children’s Picture Book Award and Hsin Yi Excellent Picture Books as the subject, this study is designed to compare parents’personal traits, role behavior, occupational responsibilities, appear⁃ ance and parenting style based on the analytical approach of character modeling. The result indicates that in a some picture books, the stereotype about parents’gender role still exist while in most picture books it fades away and is replaced by diversified character fea⁃ tures.
