| 对于五四“反传统”的合法性以及是否造成“文化断裂”的问题，学界始终众说纷纭，理解五四的深层精神，需回到历史文化语境中去考察，新时期对五四“新传统”的传承影响等分析，重审五四“新传统”与五四“反传统”问题。作为传统文化史中的一个特殊阶段，五四都不应该被看轻，或者回避，正确认识五四新传统，有利于重构当代民族文化传统的重任，且推动着五四研究往更深处发展。 |

| For the May Fourth Movement "anti-traditional" legitimacy which caused the "cultural break" issue, academia always has different opinions. In order to deeply understand the spirit of the May Fourth Movement，we need to come back to the historical and cultural context to examine the relationship bdtween the "anti-tradition" and the heritage of May Fourth "new tradition". This paper reviews the characteristic of May Fourth Movement’s "against the traditional" and "new tradition". As the traditional cultural history of a particular stage, the May Fourth should not be forgot. The correct understanding of the new Fourth legacy can help to reconstruct contemporary national culture traditional of responsibility, and promote research into deeper development. |
