| A Rich Old Man’s Son is not only a family moral drama that describes the domestic disputes of a family, but also a drama that reflects the social customs of Yuan Dynasty. Social realities and practices, such as the difficult situations that the small traders lived in, the property inheritance system in clansmen, national beliefs under the reign of Mongolian nationality, practice of sacrifice and marriage system, can be seen from the drama. |
