| 延安文艺座谈会和毛泽东《在延安文艺座谈会上的讲话》的发表，为中国新文艺的发展指明了方向，陕北民间剪纸受到专业美术工作者的重视，从艺术实践上很好地解决了文艺民族化和大众化的问题，使得剪纸这一传统的民间艺术形式，在特殊历史背景下被赋予了崭新时代内容，展现了鲜活和旺盛的艺术生命力。 |

| Yan’an Literature and Art Symposium and the publication of Mao Zedong’s Talks at the Yan’an Forum of Literature and Art pointed out the direction for the development of China’s new literature and art. Since then, folk paper-cutting received attention from the professional artists and paper-cutting art got a rapid development, which well solved the problem of nationalization and popularization of literature and art in the artistic practice. Paper-cutting, a traditional folk art form, was endowed with content of new era and demonstrated the vivid and exuberant artistic vitality under special historical background. |
