| 传统观点认为，北齐国号源自高欢父子的封爵与籍贯。然而揆诸魏齐之际的史实，北齐国号的选择还受到追溯先祖、攀附与拉拢士族、附会谣谶及契合美号等多种因素的影响，从中可以窥探出北齐统治者谋求抟合北镇勋贵、河北豪族、洛-邺士族文官等统治集团的良苦用心。 |

| In the conventional view, the dynasty name of Northern Qi stemmed from Gao Huan and his sons’ title of knighthood and their ancestral home.However, researching on the historical facts in the period between Northern Wei and Northern Qi, we can observe that some other factors existed in the choice of the dynasty name of Northern Qi, such as retrospecting ancestry lineage, drawing scholar-bureaucrats & martial clans, conforming to a political prediction and tallying with magnificent meaning etc.All these factors reflected the ambition of Northern Qi dominators to unite the interior ruling groups which contained barons of Beizhen，martial clans in Hebei and scholar-bureaucrats of Luoyang＆Ye etc. |
